As “Other Side of Midnight” listeners well know, since last December The Enterprise Mission has been conducting a series of “Open Hailing Frequencies” ET radio transmission experiments to the fleeing “Interstellar Visitor” to the solar system in 2017, named ‘Oumuamua — “messenger from afar … arriving first.”
And, we’ve been receiving answering transmissions ….
Tonight, the cosmic mystery deepens … a bizarre, never-before-seen, newly-announced galactic source of “new, transient radio emission” — which was discovered, and then closely monitored for three months in early 2018 … before it … simply disappeared!
But, before it vanished, the “anomalous emission” appeared to rhymically — for about one minute at a time — outshine almost all known other “radio objects” in the sky … and appeared, like clockwork, to burst forth — then disappear — in an exact, recurring period of 18.18 seconds!
Further … from its spectrum, the recorded radio “bursts” appear to have been modulated (!) — just like our “answers from ‘Oumuamua” — beginning at exactly 1/2 the frequency (72 megahertz) of OUR original test radio transmissions, 144.1 megahertz!

I just had the chance to listen to your Jan 29th episode. Wow. I listen to interesting podcasts just to keep myself from going insane whilst I drive around Victoria delivering continence products. I must do some research on the continent I live in (Australia) and the country I want to retire to (Cambodia) . I had hoped that the carved lotus tiles would have 7 petals, but they have eight. Still, this is early in the investigation.
