1. CNET X-Files Story 2. Polygon X-Files Story Dean Haglund is a Canadian actor, known for the role of Richard “Ringo” Langly, one of the Lone Gunmen on The X-Files. Haglund is also a stand-up comedian, specializing in improvisational comedy. In addition to The X-Files, he played the voice of Sid in Tom Sawyer, Haglund also portrayed Langly in the spin-off The Lone Gunmen, which aired thirteen episodes in 2001. Haglund currently hosts the Chillpak Hollywood Hour podcast, where he discusses all things Hollywood with independent filmmaker Phil Leirness. As well as periodically hosting episodes of the X-Files on the YOUTOO television channel. He is the owner and president of White Phosphorus Pictures LLC. In 2005 He released his first documentary titled, Horror Business; an experimental study regarding the struggles of independent horror movie making. In 2006 he set out to make Montauk Chronicles, subsequently creating two completely different motion pictures. Montauk Chronicles is an almost ten-year study of the paranormal legends that surround the Camp Hero Air Force base in Montauk, New York. The movie is primarily a documentary with bizarre and horrific interpretations of the subjects claims of mind control, alien abduction, time-travel experiments and murder. Dave grew up just outside of Indianapolis, Indiana and attended Purdue University in the early 70s, studying to become an airline pilot. He left the university after realizing the airlines had a surplus of pilots to choose from the Vietnam War and worked full time as an electronics technician. Dave advanced in three companies over 35 years through Quality Control, Sales and Marketing and finally Product Line management in the Military/Aerospace marketplace for these manufacturers.
