    Ben Haldeman is the founder of LifeShip, a community-powered mission to preserve Earth and spread life into space. LifeShip recently launched a Pyramid on the Moon, a monument to human creativity containing a seed bank of life from Earth.
   A visionary with the mind of a rocket scientist and the heart of a yogi, Ben is deeply rooted in the human journey of exploration and expansion. He has designed hundreds of spacecraft used to monitor our changing planet, built dozens of telescopes to discover new exoplanets, and developed instruments to search for life on Mars.
   Ben lives in an intentional community in the San Diego countryside and is passionate about the future of communal living—on Earth and beyond.
