Yes, I know what NASA says– “The Perseverance rover will search for ancient Martian microfossils of long-extinct bacteria … or … at least their organic “biosignatures” (molecular evidence of former biochemistry, likely to be found hidden in the rocks) ….” But, REALLY …. If THAT is Percy’s official “NASA mission,” how come it’s carrying a ground-penetrating RADAR instrument — capable of seeing (roughly …) only 30 feet under the undulating ancient lakebed that Percy’s currently sitting on?; if Jezero was truly such “an ancient lake,” slowly filling with sediments washed down by the obvious ancient river channel visible just to the west of the crater, what underground “geology” could Percy’s little radar possibly find … if […]

Guest Page Fast links to Items:  Richard – Andrew – Ron – Ruggero Fast links to Bios: Andrew – Ron – Ruggero –  Chris Ok, in continuing “Mars soap-opera news” tonight– NASA TV is still TOTALLY screwed up — two WEEKS after its next planned, world-wide television update of new images and data from the newly-landed Perseverance rover was suddenly “pulled,” now two weekends ago …. Proof? There have been NO new “NASA Preseverance press conferences,” carried world-wide on NASA TV, for almost two whole weeks (the ridiculous, high-school-like “phone-in Perseverance PowerPoint presentation “on the Web a couple days ago, presented by JPL to ostensibly highlight Perceverance’s “historic firsts,” doesn’t count; it’s TOTAL world-wide audience was (wait for it)– Less than 40,000 folks! WE (“the Other Side of Midnight”) have a bigger world-wide audience! If this JPL update had been carried live on NASA TV — like ALL previous Mars missions, in […]
