Dr. John E. Brandenburg
Dr. John E. Brandenburg is a theoretical plasma physicist who was born in Rochester Minnesota, and grew up in Medford Oregon. He obtained his BA in Physics, with a Mathematics minor, from Southern Oregon University in 1975 and obtained his MS in 1977 and PhD in Plasma Physics both from University of California at Davis in 1981. He presently is working as a consultant at Morningstar Applied Physics LLC and a part-time instructor of Astronomy, Physics and Mathematics Madison College and other learning institutions in Madison Wisconsin.
Before this, he worked at Orbital Technologies in Madison Wisconsin, as Senior Propulsion Scientist, working on space plasma technologies, nuclear fusion, and advanced space propulsion. He is the principle inventor of the MET (Microwave Electro-Thermal) plasma thruster using water propellant for space propulsion. He has previously worked on SDI, the Clementine Mission to the Moon, Rocket Plume-Regolith Interactions on the Moon and Mars, Vortex theory of Rocket engine design, combined Sakharov-Kaluza-Klein theory of Field Unification for purposes of space propulsion and Mars science. He also performed an architecture study for a Human Mars Mission using solar electric propulsion.
Before coming to ORBITEC he was teaching and performing research at the Florida Space Institute of the University of Central Florida, at Aerospace Corporation in Chantilly Va., and earlier at Research Support Instruments (RSI) in Lanham Maryland. During the Reagan years he worked at Mission Research Corporation and Sandia National Laboratories on SDI and plasmas for controlled fusion and directed energy weapons.
He has authored the popular science books “Death on Mars,” (2014) “Life and Death on Mars” (2010), “Beyond Einstein’s Unified Field” (2011) and “Dead Mars, Dying Earth” (1999) with Monica Rix Paxson, which won the Ben Franklin Silver Medal award for best Science/Environmental book in 2001. He has written two science fiction novels under the pen name “Victor Norgarde”: “Morningstar Pass, The collapse of the UFO Coverup” and “Asteroid 20-2012 Sepulveda” He is the recipient of the William Gerald Award in 2006 from the Harlem Children Society for his work with underprivileged students, and the 2012 Devi Bhargava Award at Madison College for working with students with disabilities.

Ron
Ron Gerbron
Member of the Enterprise Mission Imaging Team
Ron is a proudly uncredentialed polymath with a deep interest in the study of archeology, especially Martian archeology. Ron was raised on a farm in Pennsylvania collecting arrowheads as a child. He found the programmatic aspect of education too limiting after attending a famous Quaker school in PA. Ahead of his studies and his time, he attempted to contort himself into attending college; before he gave up on academia and left to travel overseas. Throughout all this time, he has focused his core attention on the metrology of our paleo history, particularly on other planets, and especially Mars.

Richard, Why are your images so inconsistent? Some open a new tabs when clicked on, most do, then you have a few that don’t open a new tabs.
This gets weird when you close them. The images in the new tabs can be closed and nothing is lost. But the images that are not in new tabs close your main webpage.
Can’t you be consistent and make all the images open new tabs?
I’m sorry for this Don, but when I’m rushed, because of last minute submissions, I miss a few things in the HTML coding. Richard does nothing with the webpages. It is on me mainly, and Kynthea helps tag team when I’m swamped. I’m working with the longest running quiz game show, It’s Academic, and it takes up my time on the weekends. They pay me, this show doesn’t, but I try to make sure everything is as top notched as possible, but I’m only human. I don’t have anyone to check my work while I’m still building stuff, so I miss a few. You get what you pay for. Oh wait, I don’t get paid. 🙂 People that pay me are second, people that don’t pay me are third, and you can guess family comes first. 🙂
I feel that you guys deserve shows both days, so that’s why Kynthea or I step in to host to make sure you guys get that, but it doesn’t happen all the time. As I sit here setting up the show replay of last night’s show, because Richard’s Internet is down again, I’m fighting to stay awake as I had to be at the TV Studio at 7am, and got home at 5:15 pm, only to fine Hoagland’s Internet down again. It hurts me when I have to setup a replay, knowing that you guys deserve a live show. Not to mention the time I poured into building the pages. Right now, I’m the glue holding the pieces together for this show.
I need the feedback from you guys to help me find the flaws so I can fix them. I will try to go through the Items again and fix the “Open in new tab” issues. Thank you for your help finding these issues.
why doesn’t Richard just get starlink internet
thank you all for the work you do!
Thank you so much for all your work Keith. I can relate very much to your situation since working in tech environments (Media, Film, TV) also. All things technical come with this million of detail, and everyday you are granted a few new unexpected problems.. This is always happening. In big or small studios, on set of course, in IT rooms and the infrastructure connected to it.. everywhere. It`s an endless story. A lot of people are not appreciative enough for the creativity, skill and endurance it takes to make Tech in all its forms functioning and running. It got better though in the last 5-10 years with more stable computer software and digital norms, but better means just a bit better, the masters of disasters are only sleeping “better” but as soon they wake up…. And you do so much for the love of it. And these shows are running ! Unmuting helps – unmuting your heart and your soul as you do every week .. 🙂 What was the problem again ? oh, not opening new tabs ? Ahahaha… can live with this… Thanks a Million Keith !
They’ve already got 70.2 grams of bennu and the mission was expected to retrieve 60 grams. So even though they haven’t got it open yet they’ve already got more than they hoped for. They are taking there time to not contaminate the sample inside the canister. It’s more complicated than what you are saying and it’s not a Philips screw driver and the seal worked too well.
I don’t believe for a second they haven’t opened it yet

Nobody remembers the The Perils of Pauline, you are dating yourself Richard.
Obviously if someone was living on the moon they would have to eat food.
So, of course, there is a Stonehenge so they would know when to plant.
